By visiting and using the Platform you accept these Terms. If you do not agree with any term, please do not use the Platform.
2. What the Platform is
The Platform is an online directory and connection tool through which visitors (hereinafter "Users") can search for and find professional dietitians, nutritionists and related specialists (hereinafter "Professionals"), as well as contact them or schedule sessions.
Search for and find professionals near you or with a specific specialty.
View their profile, qualifications and contact details.
Contact them by phone, email, contact form or online booking system.
Read and submit reviews.
Important clarifications:
a) The Company does not provide dietary, nutritional or medical advice. We are not a healthcare provider.
b) The dietitians shown on the Platform are independent professionals, with no employment or representation relationship with the Company.
c) Every appointment, session or service is agreed directly between you and the dietitian, without our involvement.
d) We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of the information posted by dietitians, nor the outcome of their intervention.
e) Every service contract is concluded directly between the User and the Professional, without the Company's involvement or liability.
f) The Company operates as an information society service provider within the meaning of P.D. 131/2003 and Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act).
3. Your obligations
3.1 Rights and obligations of Users
The User has the right to:
Search for and view Professionals' profiles.
Contact Professionals through the available means (direct phone/email, contact form, booking system, social media).
Submit reviews, provided they have used the Professional's services.
The User is required to:
Provide true and accurate information when contacting dietitians or submitting forms.
Not use the Platform for unlawful or abusive purposes.
Respect the rights of third parties, including intellectual property and personality rights.
Not systematically reproduce, copy or extract content from the Platform (e.g. via scraping, bots).
Respect the rights of third parties.
4. Choice of dietitian — your responsibility
Choosing a dietitian is solely your responsibility. We recommend that, before entering into any agreement, you:
Verify the professional's license to practice.
Ask about prices, session length and cancellation policy.
Read other users' reviews.
Any disputes with the dietitian (service quality, fees, cancellations, treatment outcome) are resolved directly with them. The Company bears no liability and does not intervene in such disputes.
5. Reviews
You may submit a review for a dietitian you have visited. Reviews must be:
Truthful and based on your actual experience.
Respectful and decent, without insulting or defamatory content.
Free of personal data of third parties (e.g. names of other patients).
The Company reserves the right to remove reviews that violate the above rules or appear to be false.
6. Reporting illegal or inappropriate content
If you find content on the Platform that you consider unlawful, misleading or inappropriate (e.g. false claims, infringement of rights, abusive comments), you can report it to info@athlisis.com, describing:
The specific content (e.g. URL or profile).
The reason you consider it problematic.
Your contact details.
We will examine your report within a reasonable time and inform you of the actions taken, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act).
7. Intellectual property
The logo, design, code, texts and any other element created by the Company are its intellectual property and are protected by Law 2121/1993. Their reproduction, distribution or commercial exploitation is prohibited without prior written permission.
The content posted by dietitians (texts, photos) belongs to them.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for:
The behaviour, actions or service quality of the dietitians.
The outcome of any dietary or nutritional intervention.
The accuracy of profile information.
Any service interruptions, errors or technical issues.
Damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Platform.
The Platform is provided "as is", without express or implied warranty.
Any rights granted to you by law as a consumer remain unaffected.
9. Links to third-party websites
The Platform may contain links to other websites (e.g. dietitians' personal websites, social media). We are not responsible for the content or practices of those websites.
10. Personal data and Cookies
The way we collect and process your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. The way cookies are used is described in our Cookie Policy. Both documents form an integral part of these Terms.
11. Changes to the Terms
We may amend these Terms when needed. Significant changes will be announced on the Platform. Continued use after the amendment is deemed acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by Greek law. The courts of [Athens / the Company's registered office] have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
