Personalized nutritional care for children, adolescents, and adults

About

My nutritional approach is based on evidence-based practice and individualized care, taking into account medical history, dietary habits, daily life needs, and each person’s relationship with food. My goal is not to promote a temporary diet, but to provide meaningful education and support so that change is realistic, sustainable, and adapted to each person’s lifestyle.

I believe that nutritional care requires collaboration, understanding, and a safe environment that supports growth and development. I work with children, adolescents, and adults with the aim of improving health, quality of life, and the relationship with food through gradual and stable behavior changes.

I am a Registered Dietitian–Nutritionist with a PhD in Clinical Nutrition from the University of Kuopio, Finland, and many years of experience in clinical nutrition, research, and public health. In recent years, I have been mainly involved in the field of childhood and adolescent obesity, through my collaboration with the Specialized Unit for Childhood Obesity at the “Agia Sophia” Children’s Hospital and the European Centre for Obesity Management, within the framework of the National Action for Childhood Obesity.

Through this work, I support children, adolescents, and their families in adopting healthier eating habits and lifestyle behaviors, using evidence-based behavior change approaches tailored to their individual needs.

In addition, I have contributed to the development of scientific protocols, educational materials, and digital tools to support health behavior change, combining clinical practice with scientific evidence and a modern approach to nutritional care.
